Kew Labs chargers work with all Qi wireless charging devices
Kew Labs UTS-2 uses Qi wireless charging which is the most common wireless charging protocol in the market used by all phone manufacturers.
UTS-2 does not work with iPads or Apple Watch as these devices either do not support wireless charging or use a different kind of charging technology like Apple Watch.
Apple iPhone Pro/Max Model
UTS-2 works with the pro and max model of Apple iPhone that have the larger camera bumps. The most important factor in ensuring good capability with these models in particular like all UTS-2 set ups is the surface thickness being no greater than 12mm as the camera bump increases the distance between the phone and the charger.
Does it work with MagSafe?
All new models of iPhones since 2020 include Apple's MagSafe technology which allows compatible wireless chargers to magnetically attach to the phone's back. UTS-2 wireless chargers are compatible with iPhones with MagSafe but will not magnetically attach to the phone like a MagSafe charger.
Phone Cases / MagSafe Cases
Kew Labs chargers are designed to charge through the vast majority of phone cases as long as they do not contain, metal/magnetic plates over the charging coil (MagSafe compatible cases are ok), card holders, credit cards, pop sockets and key rings. As the cases increase the distance of the charging, surface thickness should be no greater than 12mm to ensure compatibility.
