If your surface thickness exceeds the required 8-12mm range for Kew Labs UTS-2 wireless chargers, such as with common countertop thicknesses of 2cm and 3cm, it is essential to ensure that the surface is modified to meet the specified thickness of 12mm (0.5"). This adjustment can be achieved through routing or thinning the surface to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency with UTS-2 wireless charger.
UTS-2 will not work if the surface is thinner than 8mm (0.31") to ensure your phone does not receive too much power.
